Full to the Brum was started because there are loads of really cool food and drinks related
things happening in the Birmingham area, but unless you stalk twitter or visit a raft of websites it’s not always easy to find out about them.

I previously worked in “the industry” (aka food and drinks industry) for 3.5 years and I wanted to shout about the awesome things I heard about daily – passionate bartenders, innovative chefs, risk-taking events planners and new and exciting things coming to the city. Now that I’m out the other-side in a completely different role, I wanted to try and help raise the profile of the city and the people making it a great place to eat and drink. There are some great websites which are flying the flag for the Birmingham food and drinks scene and this blog aims to stand along side them.

The aim of the blog is simple; to celebrate the food and drinks scene in the Birmingham-ish area. Solihull, Sutton Coldfield, Bearwood…if it has a B postcode then it’s fine with me. I’ll occasionally post about other food and drinks things that might not just be specific to Birmingham, but that’s the benefits of having your own blog and being able to make/break the rules. 🙂
